Faerch supplies the global food industry with sustainable packaging solutions whilst driving the circular transition as an integrated recycler. Over the past five decades, they have served leading food manufacturers and retailers around the world with cutting-edge packaging designed to keep food safe, prolong product shelf life, and reduce food waste. With their extensive industry knowledge and expertise, they help their customers solve demanding food packaging challenges across segments such as ready meals, fresh meat, food to go, and dairy products.
While it is their business to create advanced food packaging, satisfying the most demanding of expectations, they have always been committed to ensuring a sustainable future for food packaging.
Now, more than ever, we need to rethink how we make, use and dispose of food packaging. At Faerch, they are on a mission to create true circularity in food packaging. In a circular economy, materials are designed to be kept at their highest possible value at all times. This is not some distant vision. They are doing it already. As the world’s only integrated recycler of PET pots, tubs and trays, they offer tray-to-tray recycling on an industrial scale. They take back used PET food packaging and recycle it into new food grade pots, tubs and trays of the same quality – without compromising on any functional properties.
Characteristic for Faerch is that it is a healthy, family owned business with a very good, caring corporate culture. Next to that they are very flexible in processes and products. As an example of the latter, almost every day two new (or amended) products are brought to market.
