The E-Commerce Manager drives the performance of the online channel of our client in The Netherlands and takes proactive steps to ensure the growth of the channel is maintained. You are responsible for setting up the web shop and proactively manage ongoing development of the e commerce platforms, working with outsourced web developers, digital agencies and internal team members.
You drive online sales growth by implementing an engaging integrated acquisition strategy across PPC, SEO, affiliate, retargeting, display, PR, email and social media with a focus on ROI. You work closely with the commercial and marketing team and build close relationships with other internal departments such as the Logistics department.
You act as a true multi-channel champion ensuring the full integration and optimization of online/ecommerce opportunities within the business, ensuring the online customer experience is best in class for the industry and in line with forward thinking retail trends. You analyze the effect of the efforts made and respond to it in an effective and successful matter.
You have a Bachelor degree in Business and/or commercial management and about 5 years’ experience in a similar role. You also have a proven track record of implementing and delivering successful growth strategies resulting in increased turnover and profit margins in an ecommerce business. You have been budgetary responsible in a previous position. You are experienced in ecommerce/multi-channel systems integration. You have experience and a good understanding of the Magento open-source content management platform. You live in the East of the Netherlands. You are fluent both written and verbal in English and Dutch.
